Blockhead, also called Buruandi, is a hybrid cannabis strain. The hybrid is with the Genehtik of Spain that is crossed with Sweet Tooth (strain unknown).
The Sweet Tooth as we know is the winner of the High Times Cannabis Cup. This hybrid variant produces a rather musky kind of aromatic plant with a confluence of oak. The plant itself is stout with large, dense flowers; the looks indicating that of an Indica-leaning flower. The colas are bright green in color and the fan leaves have a reddish and a burnt orange tinge to them.
Though the strain leans more towards Indica, this one is believed to have heady, calming and uplifting characteristics. Blockhead is known to alleviate pain, help with bipolar disorder, stress and induce sleep but has to be taken only under medical advice and supervision.
Despite Blockhead being an Indica-leaning variant, it displays some strong uplifting characteristics and is named after this. One of the most unique thing about Blockhead is its strong aromatic and sweet flavor and taste. The exact origin of this plant, however, remains unknown.
